The following instructions will allow you to restore the hard drive to the original software content that was installed when you purchased your notebook.

Follow the steps below to reformat your hard drive. (Your drive will  be reformatted and ALL data will be ERASED) It is important to back up all data files before you proceed with those instructions.

1. When rebooting your system, press F2 to enter BIOS Setup.
2. In BIOS select "Boot" menu.
3. Follow on screen instructions to set CD ROM Drive as the 1st device to booth from.
4. Press the CD ROM drive eject button and insert the System CD.
5. Close the CD ROM tray.
6. Press Esc to jump to "Exit" menu, then press Enter.
7. Select the "Y" (Yes) to save the changes and exit BIOS Setup.
8. The system will restart and boot from the CD ROM using System CD.
9. Follow on screen instructions to perform system recovery. When prompted, change CD from System to Recovery CD 1 and then CD 2.

When you finish the recovery process, please remove the Recovery CD 2 and insert the System CD again. After restarting computer, Windows installation will continue.
